IP Policy
Based on the information acquired by the IP View, we can move to the next step.
The IP Policy will position the business towards all its business counterparts.
It will allow the business to:
- ensure higher levels of protection of its innovation assets
- determine which rights are granted to customers, business partners, suppliers, other actors
- position the business on the IP landscape
- determine offensive or defensive positions towards other players (competitors, trolls, suppliers)
- present itself as a knowledgeable player in the information society
Moreover, in today’s world of compliance, developing and implementing an IP Policy is quickly becoming a necessary action to ensure compliance with regulations, and it is considered to be a SoX requirement.
We will develop the IP Policy in close collaboration with senior management, in order to ensure that it properly reflects the intentions of the business.
We will not base ourselves on assumptions, but work with an open mind, taking all options into consideration, and withing being tied to one or another Intellectual Property technique.
